Our wee escape for one of the best Sunday lunches while visiting Berwick! Absolutely delicious food at reasonable prices, friendly staff and a cosy restaurant. Highly recommended.

Great dog friendly hotel just outside the city fortifications. Very clean basic accommodation, comfortable bed and good shower in the bathroom. For a 2 star hotel it is more than adequate. Opposite the train station and a 10 mins stroll into the town centre. Bridge street is good for independent stores and restaurants. The hotel has a comfortable bar and a restaurant although we only had breakfast there. Highly recommended.
Nice hotel. Higher standard of room than we expected. Bed comfortable, but room a little small especially compared to the cavernous bathroom. Perfectly acceptable for a weekend break, though. Pleasant atmosphere throughout the whole hotel. The staff were universally lovely and couldn't have been cannier. Continental breakfast was fine(there is the option of upgrading to a hot breakfast) and the dining area and evening food on offer was really good. We'll definitely go back.
Everything was perfect from start to finish…. Ashley was just a lovely lass and funny, the breakfast was great and the room was immaculate as always… 6 happy golfers heading back home but we plan to be back very soon…. Thanks
We stayed here for one night and had lovely big room. Dog friendly. Very comfortable and clean..slept very well. The continental breaky was included and our waitress was lovely. Little bit of walk into Berwick but great price for the night.
I stayed for a Sunday and Monday night in what was described as a "small double room". In reality, it was perfectly large enough, with large windows letting in good light. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom, though small, offered everything needed, with ample hot water and a good shower. For the price, it was very good value indeed, especially as it included a continental breakfast. For £9.95 I had a very good, generous cooked breakfast instead. The location is good - the shortest of walks from the station and an easy stroll into the heart of the town. During my stay they had no chef, so I cannot comment on their dinner offering. Staffing is obviously a bit light and, while that's understandable, I can see how it might cause some frustration.
